Trends Belstaff FW14 - The return of the "Fashion Mojo"

This is the collection to relaunch your fashion MOJO.......
The Belstaff Fall Winter 2014 collection is expressive, eclectic, and filled with the marriage of rich textures and luxury attention to details.

It's completely connected to the mood of today, a "Mash-up" of contemporary styles, something from the past, (Historical), combined with a twist of today (Clean Modernity.) and created new by a step into what could be the future (Twists, combinations and silhouette.)

This is a must on the List OBD - Objects of Desire.

The silhouettes are tough but with a twist of elegance. The collection too has some contrasts with it's mix of historical uniform references.
I love the touch of 'danger' with the ultra - high temperature, heat resistant, furnace gloves.....

I find this statement completely 3 dimensional, the blend of raw energy and uniform inspired colours and the translation into leather, suede and sheepskin, it's attention to protection and the touch of engineered design.

I love especially the mixing of these rustic, earthy colours which are completely in keeping with a quality 'House of Leather' and allows the layers of different textures to stand out as something special,  from strong diamond quilting panels to heavy grain leathers, straps and buckles in a fourth material and of course the depth of a rich shearling collar.

Do you remember Mad Max?
Maybe this is somewhere in the design teams inspirational boards........
